I am Parvati...Goddess of the mountains, marriage and love. I am one of the many forms of Shakti, the unknowable but enlivening feminine force- the feminine energy of the universe.

I am the animating energy that brings skill, power, prowess, and genius while I infuse the world with my magic. I represent the part of ourselves that creatively brings forth nourishment and life force even in the midst of what seems to be rejection and disapproval.

As Parvati, I am a wonderful affirmation that there are no limits to what a woman can do when she uses her spiritual energy in the pursuit of any goal she chooses.

During the dark time of demons when the gods and goddesses were forced out of the heavens, it was my beauty and love that lured Shiva out of his cave to save the heavens.
